Clair A. Sharp, 93, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2008 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.The son of Clyde and Lottie E. (Carey) Sharp, he was born August 17, 1914 in Aultman, PA.Mr. Sharp lived most of his life in the Clarksburg area where he was the owner of Sharps Service Garage for many years.Surviving are a son, Roy A. Sharp and wife, Dorothy of Blairsville; two daughters, Hazel M. Jezwski and husband, Thomas of Strongsville, Ohio and Nancy M. Butchkoski and husband, Ronald of Clarksburg; 13 grandchildren, Judy Scribe, Roy A. Sharp Jr., Randy Sharp, Rich Sharp, Robin Sharp, Laura Shaffor, Carmen Daugherty, Larry Sharp, Robert Sharp, Michael Jezwski, Dave Jezwski, Stacey Smith and Brenda Romasco; 12 great grandchildren and a sister, Ruby Kwisnek and husband, Steve of Clarksburg.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy E. (Henry) Sharp in 1984; a son, Robert Clyde Sharp on August 21, 2007; three brothers, Ralph, Edward and Norman Sharp and two sisters, Hazel Cunningham and Dora Clawson.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Susan Porch Lantz officiating.Interment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, PA.
