Katheryn A. (Denkovich) Sracic, 84 of Blairsville, PA (Brenizer) passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of Alex and Theresa (Vrabel) Hetcko Denkovich, she was born January 24, 1924 in Nanty Glo, PA.Mrs. Sracic was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA.She lived most of her life in Brenizer where she attended the Brenizer School. She worked at Torrance State Hospital, prior to her retirement.She is survived by at sister, Margaret Bly of Brenizer; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Sracic on June 22, 1992; six brothers, Pete P. Denkovich on July 22, 2007, Alex J. Denkovich on November 9, 2007, John, Andrew, Steve and Joseph Hetcko and two sisters, Mary Hetcko and Anna Kovach.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Friday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
