Louise (Cover) Doak, 92, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of William and Minnie (Davis) Cover, she was born October 16, 1915 in Blairsville.Mrs. Doak was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, where she had served as Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher, choir director, organist and pianist.She lived her entire life in Blairsville. She graduated from Blairsville High School in 1933. Mrs. Doak was past Guardian of Bethel #6, International Order of Jobs Daughters and taught piano and organ for many years.Surviving are a son, Robert Doak and wife, Sue of Blairsville and a daughter, Beverly Gribbin of Scottsdale, AZ and three grandchildren, Jeffrey S. Doak, Daniel E. Doak and Jason P. Yakelis.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John F. Doak on January 7, 1982; a brother, Wayne Cover and a sister, Eva Jane Cover.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. John McMannus and Rev. William Underwood co-officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 135 E.
