Adah (Elliott) Fleming, 91, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of Harry and Lydia (Kuhn) Elliott, she was born November 5, 1916 in Derry Twp., PA.Mrs. Fleming was a member of the Community United Presbyterian Church, New Alexandria, Community Grange of New Alexandria and the Derry Area Historical Society.She attended the #10 grade school and graduated from Derry Twp. High School with the Class of 1934.Mrs. Fleming owned and operated Rushwood Park, New Alexandria, with her husband, Wilmer and sister, Ella Mae.Surviving are two sons, William D. Fleming of New Alexandria and Charles A. Fleming of Harrisburg, PA; three grandchildren, Mark Fleming, Melissa Fleming and Christy Fleming; two great grandchildren and a brother, John Dale Elliott of New Alexandria.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilmer C. Fleming in 1979; a brother Clair Elliott and three sisters, Bertha Parker, Ella Mae Elliott and Sarah Elliott.The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Carnahan officiating.Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.
