John Brezinski, 81, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Beacon Ridge, Indiana, PA.A son of Nicholas and Edith (Siroski) Brezinski, he was born May 22, 1926 in Export, PA.Mr. Brezinski was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church, Blairsville, New Florence VFW, Latrobe American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans, Indiana.He graduated from Derry Twp. High School in 1944 and was a US Marine veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater.He was an instructor at Vale Tech, Blairsville in the 1950's and worked as a truck driver for Kovalchick Salvage Company, Indiana, retiring in 1987.Surviving are two sons, Ronald J. Brezinski and wife, Amy of Blairsville and Paul Brezinski of Baltimore, MD; three daughters, Beverly Bush and husband, Gerald of Oceola Mills; Linda Sandolfini and Louise Brezinski, both of Black Lick; seven grandchildren, David Bush, Heather McKee, Jaclyn Martin, Melissa Bush, Caleb Brezinski, John Brezinski and Bernadette Brezinski; two great grandchildren and a sister, Jennie Brezinski of Blairsville.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wilda L. (Buterbaugh) Brezinski in 1987 and five brothers, Joe, Nick, Pete, Alex and Mike Brezinski.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Beverly J. Banyay officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.Military services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and the American Legion.Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebron Lutheran Church, 125 N.
