Wilbur I. "Wib" Fisher, 70, of Josephine, PA passed away on Friday, November 26, 2007 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A son of Blair L. and Alice (Henry) Fisher, he was born November 25, 1936 in Iselin, PA.He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked for R & P Coal Company, Florence mine, retiring in 1987.Surviving are his wife, Patricia E. (Mikeska) Fisher whom he married on May 14, 1960; six children, Nicholas Fisher and wife, Shirley of Lebanon, PA; Peter Fisher of Josephine; Pauline Duncan and husband, Ken of Black Lick; Kathy Fisher of Blairsville; Diane Fisher of Josephine and Mary Fisher of Black Lick; 10 grandchildren, Stacy Fisher, Theresa Annon, Nick Palmer, Jeremy Palmer, Ken Duncan Jr., Brian Shirley, Patty Shirley, Charley Burkett, Andy Fisher and Sarah Fisher; four great grandchildren; two special pets, Thomas and Peppie; three sisters, Ruby Hazlett of Homer City, Ruth Duncan of Black Lick and Marion Long of Black Lick.He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Andrew Shirley; two brothers, Blair Fisher and Darrell Fisher and three sisters, Arlene Womack, Pearl Patterson and Louise Taylor.The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Gerald D. Mershimer officiating.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
