Anna (Strojan) Kuhns, 94, of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at her home.A daughter of John and Eva (Danilo) Strojan, she was born December 23, 1912 in Bitlya, Austria.Mrs. Kuhns was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of the Deaf, Wilkinsburg.Surviving are a son Marvin Kuhns and wife, Carol of Blairsville; a daughter, Mary Ann Kuhns of Blairsville; two grandchildren, Andrea Orde and husband, Doug and Janna Kuhns; a great grandson, Braden and a brother, Alex Strogen and wife, Saga of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Ivan Kuhns on February 12, 2004 and a sister, Eva Caffrey.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Ruppert officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
