Robert Clyde Sharp, 68, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A son of Clair A. and Dorothy E. (Henry) Sharp, he was born October 22, 1938 in Goochland Co., Virginia.Mr. Sharp was a member of the FOE #1488, Blairsville.He enjoyed golfing, hunting and his camp at Tionesta.He worked for 30 years at Rolling Rock Brewery, Latrobe, retiring in 1998.Surviving are his father, Clair Sharp of Clarksburg; five children, Robert L. Sharp of Clarksburg; Larry J. Sharp of Blairsville; Robin Sharp of Clarksburg; Laura Shaffor and husband, Denny of Apollo and Carmen Daugherty and husband, Fred of Phillipi, West Virginia; special friend, Peg Jones with whom he resided; four stepchildren, Elaine Quick, Bill Jones, Brenda Dull and Greg Jones; a brother, Roy A. Sharp and wife, Dorothy of Blairsville; two sisters, Marie Jezewski and husband, Tom of Strongsville, Ohio and Nancy Butchkoski and husband, Ron of Clarksburg and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother on October 21, 1984.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Susan Lantz officiating.Interment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, PA.
