Nancy E. (Gasbarro) Maskrey, 75, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, June 8, 2007 at her home.The daughter of Angelo and Frances (Plachta) Gasbarro, she was born November 7, 1931 in Brenizer.Mrs. Maskrey was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville.Her life was her children and grandchildren and she was an avid Steeler fan.She graduated from Blairsville High School in 1949 and had worked for LaMantia Produce, Blairsville, as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1999.Surviving are a daughter, Paula Norris and husband, Lanny of Latrobe; four sons, Kevin Maskrey and partner, Vince of Norfolk, VA; Gary Maskrey and wife, Susan of Blairsville; John Maskrey and wife, Sonya of Blairsville and David Maskrey and wife, Tammy of Cranesville, PA; 12 grandchildren, Josh Maskrey; Ryan Maskrey; James Maskrey; Stephanie Maskrey; Sarah Maskrey; Nick Maskrey; Stephen Maskrey; Lisa Norris; Lannie Norris Jr.; Lori Norris; David Maskrey and Tom Luke; and six great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David W. Maskrey in 1998; a son, Michael in 1997; a grandson, John-O in 2002; two sisters, Mary Argie Gasbarro in 1997 and Valeria S. Gasbarro in 2002.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held on Sunday at 8:30 P.M. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 A.M. in SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
