M. Glenn Smith, 96, of Blairsville, PA (Blacklick Twp.) passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007 in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.The son of Robert Elder and Loella Myrtle (Swasy) Smith, he was born December 1, 1910 in Blacklick Twp., PA.Mr. Smith was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church for 82 years.He lived his entire life in Blacklick Twp. where he operated a dairy farm.He is survived by a son, Robert Smith and wife, Sandy of Blairsville; two daughters, Virginia Freed and husband, Ted of Blairsville and his loving and caring daughter, Thelma Harsh and husband, Jack of Blairsville; four grandchildren, Tammy Harsh and fiancé, Ken DeHaven; John Harsh and wife, Denise; Janet Nutter and husband, Tim and Carol Rager and husband, Duane; seven great grandchildren, Samantha Harsh; Hilary Davis, Ivy Davis, Charles Shelly, T.J. Nutter, Crystal Rager and Bobby Rager; one great-great granddaughter, Olivia Shelly; a sister-in-law, Mildred Smith of Indiana; several nieces and nephews and his caregivers, Tasha Shupe, Yvonne Hankinson and Ruth Hosack.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Edna Louise (Fulmer) Smith in 1988; an infant son, three brothers, Raymond, Ernest and Clair Smith and a sister, Loella Greene. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home with Rev. Jason L.
