Edna Irene (Woods) Worthing, 91, of Bath, NY passed away on Friday May 11, 2007 at the Taylor Health Center, Bath, NY.A daughter of Clarence and Iva Belle (Frain) Woods, she was born April 9, 1916 in West Wheatfield Twp., PA.She was a former resident of Blairsville and Brush Valley before moving to New York.Surviving are several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Worthing in 1988; two brothers, Orvil and Allen Woods; five sisters, Louise Johnson, Elma Shoup, Georgetta Baird, Leora Havasy and Ila Belle Cotone.Friends will be received from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home.Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, West Wheatfield Twp., PA.
