Helen L. (Patz) Sigafoes, 76, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at her home.The daughter of Emma Patz, she born March 29, 1931 in Latrobe, PA.Mrs. Sigafoes was a member of the Blairsville United Presbyterian Church and Blairsville Chapter #166 Order of the Eastern Star.She enjoyed gardening.She and her husband were owners of H & S Sales and Service, Blairsville.Surviving are her husband, Harry Thomas Sigafoes whom she married on August 20, 1948; a daughter, Sandra K. Habets and husband, J.P. of Blairsville; two grandchildren, Todd Habets and wife, Michelle and Chantal Townsend and husband, Jeff; two great grandchildren, Cole and Carly Townsend; a brother, William Mikolay of Harrisburg and a sister, Anna Mae Stormer of Brookville.She was preceded in death by her mother.In keeping with Helen's wishes, there will be no visitation.A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the United Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N.
