Roberta Louise (Bennett) Lichtenfels, 74, of Indiana, PA formerly of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at her home.A daughter of Raleigh W. and Verna M. (Sullinger) Bennett, she was born April 21, 1933 in Black Lick, PA.Mrs. Lichtenfels attended the Indiana Church of the Brethren.She graduated from Blairsville High School in 1951 and worked for Sears Roebuck and Co. and G.C. Murphy Co., retiring in 1983.Surviving are two sons, Timothy Lichtenfels and wife, Cindy of Lower Burrell; Alan Lichtenfels of Johnstown; a daughter, Joni Melnick and husband, James of Blairsville; a granddaughter, Lauren Melnick of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Richard Bennett and wife, Bernadine of Punxsutawney; Thomas Bennett and wife, Donna of Hot Springs, AR; two sisters, Margaret Heckman of Cortland, OH and Verna Empfield of Johnstown.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mervin W. Lichtenfels on August 31, 2006; two brothers, William Bennett and Robert Bennett and a sister, Marie Libengood.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.
