Dale Glen Huston, 72, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.The son of Charles and Arminta (Repine) Huston, he was born May 13, 1934 in Black Lick, PA.Mr. Huston was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral.He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed wood working, carpentry and was an avid hunter.He was a US Army veteran and worked for 30 years at Latrobe Steel, retiring in 1992.Surviving are two daughters, Bobbi M. Pavlick and husband, Edward of Homer City and Becki M. Barna and fiancé, Bill Etling of Blairsville; four grandchildren, Elaina Barna, Edward Pavlick, Joseph Barna and Julie Pavlick; a brother, Charles Huston and wife, Nancy of Blairsville; a sister-in-law, Martha Silvis of Blairsville; a niece, Betty Silvis of Blairsville and several other nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Frances R. (Adamchik) Huston on February 20, 2006 and a sister Margaret DeMarines.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where the rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:30 P.M.A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral, with Monsignor Larry Kiniry as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.Military services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and the American Legion #0407.
