William S. Trimm, 90, of Indiana, PA formerly of New Florence passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at St. Andrews Village, Indiana, PA.The son of Walter H. and Daisy (Florence) Trimm, he was born June 5, 1916 in Steubenville, OH.Mr. Trimm graduated from Armagh High School in 1935. He was one of the founding board members of High Ridge Water Authority, which brought water to West Wheatfield Twp.He was an avid history fan, enjoyed playing golf in the Chestnut Ridge Golf League, traveling and spending his winters on the Alabama Gulf Coast.Mr. Trimm worked 31 years at Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown, retiring in 1975.Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Jane P. (Pesci) Trimm whom he married June 11, 1942; two sons, Thomas W. Trimm and wife, Patricia of Gibsonia; James R. Trimm of Indiana; a daughter, Elizabeth Koloshinsky and husband, Regis of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Melinda Zavolta, Ryan Trimm, Michael Trimm and Victoria Trimm; two great grandchildren, Lauren and Emily Zavolta.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Freida Johnston.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A Prayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday in the funeral home with Fr. Chester J.
