Josephine Helen Antolik, 82, of Blairsville, PA (Brenizer) passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.She was born May 26, 1924 in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of Anthony Antolik Sr. and Antonia (Belch) Antolik.Josephine was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville. She lived most of her life in Brenizer and graduated from Derry Twp. High School in 1944.She was a beautician for over 50 years, having worked for Mary Persichetti and Brenda Lee's Hair and Nail.Josephine was active around home, always asking her brother when he was going to cut the grass or trim the hedges, because she wanted to help.Surviving is her only brother, George Antolik of Brenizer and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Anthony Jr. killed in World War II, Edward, Frank and Stanley Antolik and two sisters, Nellie Ondick and Stella Prono.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Sunday.A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe, PA.
