Alma Virginia (Stiffey) Stipcak, 79 of Black Lick, PA passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana, PA.She was born September 1, 1927 in Fairfield Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA, a daughter of Wesley and Lena Muir Stiffey.Mrs. Stipcak lived most of her life in the Black Lick area. She graduated from Bolivar High School in 1947 and had worked as a seamstress for Fours Company, Blairsville and Campus Sportswear, Indiana, PA.Surviving are a son David Stipcak and wife, Bonnie of Blairsville; a daughter, Linda Mitchell and husband, Don of Black Lick; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and six siblings.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph M. Stipcak on January 25, 2005 and nine siblings.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Craig officiating.Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
