Doris L. (Gordon) Campbell, 81, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Lee and Elizabeth Duncan Gordon, she was born November 25, 1925 in Westmoreland Co., PA.Mrs. Campbell lived most of her life in Blairsville and had worked at Dean's Diner, Blairsville, as a cook for 20 years.Surviving are three sons, Robert W. Campbell and wife, Helen of Blairsville; Weston L. Campbell of Blairsville; William E. Campbell and wife, Linda of Blairsville; a daughter, Darlene L. Gage of Blairsville; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother Robert Gordon of Jeannette and a sister, Marian Donolley of Florida.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren R. Campbell on February 1, 2002; a daughter, Joyce Libengood; a grandson, Thomas Gage; a granddaughter, Faith Campbell; two brothers, William and Paul Gordon and two sisters, Ruth Blackman and Mildred Rupert.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. August B. Twigg officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
