Helen Louise (Stuchel) Harris, 89, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Beacon Ridge, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Alvie and Stella Lydic Stuchel, she was born December 26, 1917 in Trafford, PA.Mrs. Harris lived most of her life in the Blairsville area and was a retired employee of Bell Telephone. Surviving are three sons, Wilson E. Harris and wife, Susan of Derry; Samuel R. Harris and wife, Elaine of Blairsville and Ronald J. Harris and wife, Annette of Hillside; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilson Harris in 1964 and three sisters, Mildred Barris, Goldie Rammer and Dorothy Adams.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Jason L. McQueen officiating.Interment will be in New Alexandria Union Cemetery, New Alexandria, PA.
