William Wyinal Hill, 83, of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A son of Ralph E. and Grace Smith Hill, he was born February 4, 1923 in Penn Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA.Mr. Hill was of the catholic faith. He was a member of the Homer City American Legion and the VFW Post #9310, Robinson, PA.He was United States Marine Corps World War II veteran.Mr. Hill was the owner/operator of BMJ Alignment. He worked his entire life an alignment specialist, having started his business in White Valley and then moving to Black Lick. Surviving are his wife, Marie C. Grant Hill whom he married on January 15, 1960; a stepson, Gerald Taylor and wife, Deanna of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren and a sister, Martha Holt of Export.He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jacob, Charles and Richard and four sisters, Nora Bollinger, Marie Hill, Stella Hill and Mary Cline. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA with Monsignor Larry Kiniry officiating.Interment will be private.Military services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and the American Legion.
