Carol A. (Conrad) McFarland, 46, of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Monday, January 1, 2007 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of Jacob L. and Alice M. Dunmire Conrad, she was born May 23, 1960 in White Twp., PA.Mrs. McFarland graduated from Blairsville High School in 1978 and was employed by Wal-Mart, Blairsville, in the accounting office.She enjoyed working with crafts.Surviving are her husband, Jack H. McFarland whom she married on April 22, 1995; a son, Ben Smith of Blairsville; her parents of Blairsville; and two brothers, Dan Conrad and wife, Kathy of Blairsville and Dave Conrad and wife, Val of Blairsville.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Erma Dunmire and paternal grandparents, Frank and Edna Conrad.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Charles S. Kitner officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
