Catherine Lorenzik Bondra, 94, of Coral, PA passed away on Monday, December 18, 2006 at St. Clair Memorial Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.A daughter of Andrew and Katherine Krivonick Lorenzik, she was born September 12, 1912 in Luciusboro, PA.Mrs. Bondra was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church and the Blairsville Senior Center.Surviving are a son, Robert Bondra and wife, DeMaris of Sterling Heights, MI; a daughter, Nancy Gulakowski and husband, Chester of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Kim Droney and husband, John; Jeff Gulakowski and wife, Michelle; John Gulakowski and wife, Christine; David Zanick and wife, Diane; Tracey Andres and husband, Mike and Robert Bondra and wife, Holly; 15 great grandchildren, Nicole, Tyler, Travis, Keri, Lucas, Corey, Brady, Ashlynn, Brian, Brianna, Brendan, Ava, Sophia, Malori and Troy and a sister, Evelyn Kalen of Black Lick.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Bondra on June 16, 1991; a daughter, Carol Zanick; two brothers, Johnny and Mike Lorenzik; three sisters, Mary Clawson, Ann Onufer and Margaret Lagoda.The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 and 5 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Thursday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
