William Henry Krajec, 79, of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.He was born November 24, 1927 in Johnstown, PA, a son of Frank J. and Ursula Golob Krajec.Mr. Krajec was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville; UMWA Local #1378 for 54 years and was recording secretary from 1987 and KSKJ #153, Strabane, PA.He was a US Army veteran and worked as a miner for 40 years.Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Keller and husband, Wayne of Locust Grove, VA and Brenda McGaughey and husband, Kevin of Indiana; three grandchildren, Robert Pizer Jr.and wife, Tammy; Rebecca Pizer and Debra Nardecchia; three great grandchildren, Allison Pizer, Kaylee Pizer and Kristina Pizer; and a brother, Carl Krajec and wife, Jean of Reston, VA.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, E. Louise Petrusky Krajec on December 2, 1998; a daughter, Stephanie Pizer on August 26, 1996; a brother, Frank Krajec and a sister, Wilma Krajec.The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Wednesday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.Military services will be accorded by Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and American Legion.Memorial contributions may be made to the Burrell Twp.
