Dolores E. "Petie" Weakland Bearer, 56, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, November 24, 2006 at her home.She was born March 5, 1950 in Spangler, PA, a daughter of Valentine and Louise McDannell Weakland.Mrs. Bearer was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral, PA. and a 1969 graduate of Northern Cambria High School.She loved being with her grandchildren, was a Steeler fan and enjoyed crocheting and giving her afghans to senior citizens.Surviving are her husband of 37 years, James J. Bearer whom she married on September 13, 1969; a son, Jamie J. Bearer of Seward and a daughter, Tricia Sharp and husband, Kyle of Shelocta; two grandchildren, Raven Bearer and Connor Sharp; a brother, Russell Weakland of Spangler and a sister, Anna Mae Weakland of Morgantown, WV.She was preceded in death by her parents.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday and the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A Prayer Service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral, with Monsignor Larry Kiniry as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
