Maggie Viola "Lydic" McAdams, 86, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Monday, August 7, 2006 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA. A daughter of Elmer B. and Maggie J. Lydic, she was born September 29, 1919 in Starford, PA. Surviving are her two sons Norman Anderson of San Diego, CA and Paul E. McAdams of Black Lick, PA, 15 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; her husband Elijah P. McAdams, a Son John A. McAdams, a brother Elmer Lydic, 5 sisters Lucille Lydic, Sarah Price, Lillian Lydic, Rhuelona Repine, and Rosetta Stiffler, and one Niece Arlene Ireland.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc. 49 North Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with the Rev. Fred Craig officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
