Betty June Houser Rowley, 79, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of Bert and Letha Margaret Yeager Houser, she was born June 5, 1927 in Nowrytown, PA.Mrs. Rowley was a member of the Blairsville United Presbyterian Church and the Mizpah Bible Class. She enjoyed working on crafts for the church bazaar.She graduated from Blairsville High School with the class of 1945.Surviving are her husband of 59 years, William H. "Bill" Rowley whom she married April 3, 1947; a son, George L. "Butch" Rowley and wife, Donna Jean of Blairsville and a daughter, Bonnie Faye Blasco of Derry; four grandchildren, Cynthia Ann Bonninger, Scott W. Rowley, Shawn R. Blasco and Aaron M. Blasco; two great grandchildren, Nicholas Bonninger and Justin Bonninger; and a brother Arthur P. Houser of Durham, North Carolina.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Neal Houser and Leonard W. Houser and two sisters, Catherine Kinish and Dolly Weber.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R.
