Janice Marie McAdams Myers, 57, of Hillside, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Monday, July 17, 2006 at her home.A daughter of Samuel J. and Margaret E. Swasy McAdams, she was born October 8, 1948 in Palmertown, PA.Mrs. Myers was a member of the Hillside United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society and participated in the Relay for Life.She graduated from Blairsville High School in 1967.She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Charles R. Myers whom she married June 10, 1967; five daughters, Sharon Lynn Stewart and husband, David B. of Natrona Heights; Charlene Rae Bukoskey and husband, Richard G. of Latrobe; Susan Ann Nicholson and husband, Mark A. of Blairsville; Cheryl Robin Tran of Natrona Heights and Shelby Dawn Sherba and husband, Brian of Latrobe; six grandchildren, Chad Nicholson, Mai Tran, Gregory Bukoskey, Suong Tran, Morgan Sherba and Bre-Ann Sherba; two brothers, Robert J. McAdams and wife, Sonja of Derry and Samuel C. "Rusty" McAdams and wife, Janice of Coral; three sisters, Patricia Henry and husband, James of Palmertown; Helen Hill and husband, Floyd of Blairsville and Delores Resides and husband, Gerald of Blairsville.She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Hillside United Methodist Church, Hillside, Pa with Rev. Raymond P. Kerr officiating.Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, West Wheatfield Twp., PA.
