Dorothy Grace Rosborough Muir, 88, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.A daughter of William M. and Minnie Erb Rosborough, she was born February 7, 1918 in Blairsville, PA.Mrs. Muir lived her entire life in Blairsville and graduated from Blairsville High School in 1936. She was a member of AARP.She is survived by four sons, James Muir of Blairsville; David E. Muir, Jr. and wife, Nancy of DesMoines, Iowa; Robert C. Muir and wife, Marlene of Ellisville, MO and Donald E. Muir and wife, Michele of Seward, PA; 12 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; a brother, Odis Rosborough of Delmont; and two sisters, Mildred Murray of Blairsville and Marion McGarrity of Brackenridge. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David E. Muir, Sr. in 1967; two grandchildren, Derrick Muir in 2005 and Amy Gray in 2004; a brother, Mike Rosborough; two sisters, Elsie Crookshank and Florence Beatty.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.
