Robert A. "Bo" Glance, Jr., 62, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Monday, July 3, 2006 at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, PA.A son of Robert A. Glance, Sr. and Olive M. Stiles Guiste, he was born May 16, 1944 in Center Twp., Indiana Co., PA.Mr. Glance was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed working on his truck.He was employed by Taylor Trucking, Blairsville, PA.Surviving are his wife, Pamela J. Mase Glance whom he married October 6, 1990; six children, David Glance and wife, Vickie of Josephine; Cody Glance of Blairsville; Sandy Palmer of Josephine; Sherry Matthews and husband, Jim of Indiana; Tammy Hartman and husband, Joe of Shelocta and Carrie Lambert; a stepson, Frankie Diana and wife, Jennifer of Blairsville; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Lawson of Homer City and a half-brother, Wilbert Guiste of Black Lick.He was preceded in death by his parents; two half-brothers, Melvin and Dan Guiste and a half-sister, Elsie Clawson.There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 10, 2006, at SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer officiating. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
