Frank Regina, Jr., 80, of Blairsville, PA (Brenizer) passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Excela Health Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, PAA son of Frank Regina, Sr. and Mary Ocepep Regina, he was born January 5, 1926 in Claridge, PA.Mr. Regina was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Steelers.He was a US Navy veteran of World War II.Prior to his retirement in 1991, he was employed by Conrail.He is survived by a sister, Mary Shearer of Brenizer; a nephew, Donald Shearer and wife, Lori of Blairsville and several cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Friday.A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PAMilitary services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and the American Legion.
