John R. Graham, Jr., 82, of Ligonier, PA formerly of Derry passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at the Bethlen Home, Ligonier, PA.A son of John R. Graham, Sr. and Olive M. Calhoun Graham, he was born April 29, 1923 in Livermore, PA.Mr. Graham was a member of the New Life Community Church, Derry, PA.He was a US Navy veteran of World War II.Mr. Graham managed Fours Company in Blairsville until its closing and retired in 1984 from Torrance State Hospital.He devoted ten years of his life taking care of his loving wife, Ruth E. Sindorf Graham who died in 1994.Surviving are a nephew, William Albaugh and wife, Norma D. of Derry; several other nieces and nephews; two great nieces, Terri Shomo of Blairsville and Tammy Lyons of Latrobe; two great-great nieces, Heather Rhoades and Trenessa Taylor; a sister-in-law, Margaret Bothwell of Blairsville and a brother-in-law, Warren Sindorf of Lakeland, Fl.In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Clifford Graham.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. There will be no visitation on Easter Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev.
