Helen Louise Counsil, 90, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2006 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Joseph Baird and Catheryne Elizabeth Beaver Counsil, she was born October 20, 1915 in Somerset County.Miss Counsil had attended the First Assembly of God Church, Blairsville.She worked as a secretary at the United Methodist Church, Indiana, prior to retiring.Surviving are several cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, with Rev. John McMannus officiating.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
