Anabele Curtis Nease, 90, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Excela Health Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, PA.The daughter of George and Clara Cribbs Curtis, she was born December 15, 1915 in Blairsville, PA.Mrs. Nease lived her entire life in Blairsville and was a graduate of Blairsville High School.She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Clarksburg. She enjoyed working with crafts and had been a member of a craft club.Prior to her retirement in 1978, she worked at Torrance State Hospital.She is survived by her husband, Samuel S. Nease, whom she married August 3, 1939; a daughter, Elaine Erb of Slickville, PA and fiancée, Charles MacPherson; two grandchildren, Master Sgt. David Garland and wife, Lisa of Ft. Drum, NY and Crissy Erb of Slickville, PA; two great grandchildren, Lindsey and Bethany Garland and a brother, John Curtis of Ambridge, PA.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Oliver Curtis.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Tom R. Jones officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
