Frances Rose Adamchik Huston, 75, of Blairsville, PA (Blacklick Twp.) passed away on Monday, February 20, 2006 at her home.The daughter of Stefan and Frantiska Celej Adamchik, she was born July 18, 1930 in Blacklick Twp., PA.Mrs. Huston lived her entire life in Blacklick Twp. and graduated from Blairsville High School in 1948.She was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral, PA.Surviving are her husband, Dale G. Huston whom she married May 11, 1957; two daughters, Bobbi Pavlick and husband, Ed of Homer City, PA and Becki Barna and fiancé, Bill Etling of Blairsville, PA; four grandchildren, Edward and Julie Pavlick and Laney and Joseph Dale Barna; a sister, Martha Silvis of Blairsville, PA; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Charlie Huston of Blairsville, PA; a loving niece, Betsy Silvis of Blairsville, PA and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Anna Gaston and Mary Remek and four brothers, Stephen, John, Andrew and Charles Adamchik.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A Prayer service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral, PA with Monsignor Larry Kiniry as celebrant. Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
