Avonelle Gail Donahue, 65, of Alhambra, CA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at her home.The daughter of John and Emma Morehead Donahue, she was born May 3, 1940 in Idamar, PA.Miss Donahue lived in Indiana, PA before moving to California in 1964 where she worked as a secretary for the Arthur Anderson Co.Surviving are a sister-in-law, Betty Vanish Donahue of Indiana, PA; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, John and Becky Garnett of Yorba Linda, CA and Barbara Lipman of Los Angeles, CA.She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William, James and Kenneth Donahue and a sister, Ruth Hawkins.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, PA with Rev. Fred Craig officiating.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
