Helen Louise Twinchek Lupyan, 85, of Latrobe, PA passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Excela Health Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, PA.The daughter of Joseph and Barbara Yarabitza Twinchek, she was born September 18, 1920 in Blairsville, PA.Mrs. Lupyan was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Latrobe, PA.Surviving are her husband, Andrew Lupyan; son, David Lupyan and wife, Margaret of Cleveland, Ohio; grandson, Derek Lupyan and a sister, Mary Orzeck of Shata, CA.She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Andrew, Rudy and Frank Twinchek.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held on Friday at 8:30 P.M. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
