Mary Frances Hawk Cornell Ramsden, 88, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, January 6, 2006 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Adam C. and Myrtle A. Cochran Hawk, she was born January 6, 1918 in Home, PA.Mrs. Ramsden was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Blairsville, PA and the BPOE #406 Ladies Auxiliary.She had worked at Dean's Diner, Blairsville, as a cook and pie baker.She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen "Kay" Ross and husband, Frank of Irwin, PA; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a sister, Clara Ruth Ritenour of Ruffsdale, PA.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford L. "Bill" Ramsden in 2004; her parents; four brothers, Herbert, Charles, Leo and Russell Hawk and four sisters, Cecil, Dorothy, Lillian and Elaine Hawk.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday in the funeral home with Rev. Dean E. Byrom officiating.The Ladies Auxiliary will have services at 7:30 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
