Rosemary Ann Marron Laughlin, 80, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Friday, January 6, 2006 in Excela Health Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, PA.The daughter of John Thomas and Margaret Rose Devers Marron, she was born May 24, 1925 in Andrico, PA.Mrs. Laughlin was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA.She graduated from SS Simon & Jude School and Derry Township High School.She was a retired self-employed dairy farmer and homemaker.Her true enjoyment was spending time and attending activities with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed her flowers and reading.Surviving are her nine children, Henry Laughlin and wife, Veronica of Huber Heights, OH; Kenneth Laughlin and wife, Marlene of New Derry, PA; Richard Laughlin and wife, Peggy of New Alexandria, PA; Clifford Laughlin and wife, Sue of Loyalhanna, PA; Patrick Laughlin and wife, Susan of Derry, PA; Kathleen Debnar and husband, James of Queen Creek, Arizona; Theresa Laughlin of Berwyn Heights, MD; Margaret Ostach and husband, William of Blairsville, PA and Mary Rectenwald and husband, Martin of New Alexandria, PA; 18 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four brothers, John T. Marron II and wife, Martha of Blairsville, PA; Joseph C. Marron and wife, Gloria of Blairsville, PA; Robert D. Marron and wife, Velma of Rochester, NY and Theodore G. Marron and wife, Nancy of Frederick, MD; two sisters, Rita Wagner of Rockville, MD and Margaret Isabelle Shirley of Lima, NY; a sister-in-law, Anna May Clawson of Blairsville, PA and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Homer Clifford Laughlin on January 14, 2005; her parents; a grandson, Donald A. Laughlin; a brother, Patrick Edward Marron and a sister, Ruth Hill.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Sunday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday in SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria, PA
