R. Morris Zerfoss Jr., 89, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2005 in Victorian Gardens, Indiana, PA.A son of Ralph Morris Zerfoss Sr. and Edna E. Eaton Zerfoss, he was born September 5, 1916 in Somerset, PA.Mr. Zerfoss lived most of his life in the Clarksburg area. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Homer City, PA.Prior to his retirement in 1974, he was employed by FMC as a welder.Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Florence Agnes Ewing Zerfoss; a son, Jack Morris and wife, Patty of Clarksburg, PA; a daughter, Anita Stevens and husband, Fred of Clarksburg, PA; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Ted Eaton and wife, Ilene of Clarksburg, PA; two sisters, Roberta Cornman of Coral, PA and Louise Jones of Cortland, OH.He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Marion, Alva, James and Ernest Zerfoss; four sisters, Ethel Shaulis, Mary Shaulis, Kathryn Reynolds and Esther Taylor.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Gary J. Smith officiating.Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA
