Vernard Dean Orr, 70, of Homer City, PA (Center Twp.) passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2005 in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A son of Vernard H. and Edna Mae Hill Orr, he was born October 5, 1935 in Washington Twp., Indiana Co., PAMr. Orr was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Center Twp., where he was ruling elder and served as a deacon.He worked for A & P, Indiana, PA from 1953 to 1982 and retired from Trader Horn in 2001.Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Deloris Pearl Stewart Orr whom he married September 12, 1959; four sons, Donald D. Orr of Brentwood, TN; Daniel P. Orr of Ebensburg, PA; Douglas N. Orr and wife, Anne of Glenshaw, PA and David E. Orr and wife, Mary of Indiana, PA; five grandchildren, Andrew, Kevin, Lisa, Bailey and Lily Orr.He was preceded in death by his parents.The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 to 11 A.M. the time of the memorial service in the Bethel Presbyterian Church, Center Twp., PA with Rev.
