Luella Ione Hair Shirley, 77, formerly of Black Lick, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 in Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Adam and Mabel Learn Hair, she was born February 22, 1928 in Hillside, PA.Mrs. Shirley was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Blairsville, PA.She had worked as a cook at the former Cozy Corner Restaurant, Blairsville, PA.Surviving are two daughters, Ione Harmon and husband, Richard of Black Lick, PA and Linda Donahue and husband, James of Homer City, PA; five grandchildren, Bud Harmon, Becky Harmon, Jodi Lapp, Amy Moon and Scott Donahue; four great grandchildren; a brother, Carl Hair of Brush Valley, PA; two sisters, Roene Postgate of Homer City, PA and Naoma Braun of Virginia.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward P. Shirley on May 27, 1991; a granddaughter, Cindy Sue Harmon; a brother, Ortha Hair and three sisters, Alvena Fisher, Nannie McCurdy and Agnes Warr.The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Rusty McClurg officiating. Interment will be in Brush Valley Lutheran Cemetery, Brush Valley, PA.
