Edna G. Clawson, 92, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.A daughter of William Lloyd and Mabel Sarah Smith Clawson, she was born November 12, 1912 in Clarksburg, PA.Miss Clawson was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, PA where she taught Sunday school for many years. She graduated from Blairsville High School in 1929.Prior to her retirement, she was employed by J. Herbert George Insurance Agency, Blairsville, PA as a secretary.Surviving are a sister, Grace Miller of Blairsville, PA; a niece Carol Armentrout of Waterboro, SC and two nephews, C. David Miller of Blairsville, PA and Mark A. Miller of Plum Boro, PA.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leonard and Jack Clawson and a sister, Marguerite Clawson.The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M.to 1 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
