M.Hester Reed Warnick, 92, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2005 in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.The daughter of John B. and Maude Calhoun Reed, she was born November 1, 1912 in Livermore, PA.Mrs. Warnick was a member Blairsville United Presbyterian Church, member and past president of the Mizpah Bible Class, served as president and vice president of the Women's Association of the Presbyterian Church and secretary and treasurer of Kiskiminetas Presbytery. She was a member of the Craft Club, past president of the Business Professional Women and was president of Morewood Towers Association.She graduated from Blairsville High School in 1929 and attended Cambria College. Prior to her retirement in 1978, she worked for Lipsie Brothers Real Estate, Blairsville.Surviving are two sons, John C. Warnick and wife, Linda Sue of Saltsburg, PA; Kenneth S. Warnick and wife, Beverly of Meyersdale, PA; daughter, Dr. Marjorie Gazvoda-Larson and husband, Edwin of Tampa, Fl; special son-in-law, Edward Gazvoda of Potomac, MD; 12 grandchildren, Wendy Cazzone and husband, James; Wayne Warnick Jr. and wife, Lynn; Warren Warnick and wife, Melissa; Edward Gazvoda and wife, Gina; Michelle Wentz and husband, Tommy; Shelly Warnick; Todd Warnick; T.J. Warnick; Aric Warnick and wife, Amy; David Warnick and wife, Nancy; Michael Warnick and Susan Chacon and husband, Peter; 14 great grandchildren, Kristi Carr and husband, Dan; Michael Cazzone and wife, Jodi; Stephanie Warnick; Julia Warnick; Ryan Warnick; Grant Gazvoda; Garrison Gazvoda; Tommy Wentz III; Sean Wentz; Jilzie Wentz; Zachary Wentz; Steven Wentz; Sara Elizabeth Warnick and Peter Andrew Chacon; three great-great grandchildren, Shane, Michael and Peyton Nicholas Carr; special grandchild, Jared Rovison and a brother, Walter Reed of Tampa, FL;She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Wayne Warnick in 1997; grandson, Steven Thomas Gazvoda in 1984; brother, Charles William Reed in 2001 and a special friend, Leonard Houser in 2003.The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 P.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.
