Sean W. Pearce, 29 of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Friday, July 15, 2005 as the result of a bicycle-vehicle accident on Rt. 119 in Burrell Twp.The son of William G. Pearce and Darla M. Hilliard, he was born December 3, 1975 in Indiana, PA.Sean was a member of the Homer City United Methodist Church. He graduated from Blairsville High School in 1994 and had previously attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) studying exercise science.Surviving are his mother, Darla M. Hilliard of Blairsville, PA; father, William G. Pearce of Indiana, PA; two sisters, Shannon Anderson and husband, Scott of San Diego, CA and Heather D. Pearce of Blairsville, PA; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Stiles Hilliard of Homer City, PA; paternal grandparents, George and Viola Pearce of Indiana, PA.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wendell "Bud" Hilliard.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 P.M. in the Homer City United Methodist Church, Homer City, PA with Rev. Joseph R. Stains officiating.Entombment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
