Helen G. Flory Saltsman, 74, of Blairsville, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2005, in St. Andrews Village, Indiana.The daughter of Allen and Sylvia Dishong Flory, she was born January 27, 1931 in Clymer.Mrs. Saltsman was a member of the United Methodist Church of Blairsville, BPOE #406 Ladies Auxiliary, helped at the food bank and was a homemaker.Surviving are two sons; Kemmy and his wife Vikki, Blairsville and James and his wife Carrie, Smicksburg; one daughter, Cheryl Miller and husband David of Blairsville; one sister, Mary Joyce Jarvis, Northern Cambria; one grandchild, Jessica Saltsman.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, who died in 1993, a brother, Allen Flory and sister, Catherine Louise Lee.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home Inc., 49 N. Walnut Street, Blairsville. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Rev. Rusty McClurg officiating. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery, Hillsdale.
