Carol L. Molcsan Shrum, 67, of Blairsville, PA passed away Saturday, May 14, 2005 at her home.The daughter of Steve M. and Lois M. Boring Molcsan, she was born November 28, 1937 in Braddock, PA.Mrs. Shrum was a member of the Ladies Wednesday Morning Bowling League.Prior to her retirement in 1990, she was employed by Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.Surviving are a son, Charles V. Bruner and his wife, Debbie of Home, PA; four stepdaughters, Brenda Miller and her husband, Robert of Latrobe, PA; Donna McCracken and her husband, Dennis of Blairsville, PA; Karen Dorko and her husband, David of Latrobe, PA; Joyce Sabatina and her husband, Thomas of Greensburg, PA; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Steve M. Molcsan and his wife, Charlene of Ambrose, PA; a half-sister, Stephanie Jeffries and a half-brother, Michael Molcsan both of California.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Orvil B. Shrum, Jr. on March 1, 2003.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dean E. Byrom officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
