Jeffrey Alan Blattenberger, 22, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2005 in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA. The son of Douglas and Vicki "Duncan" Blattenberger, he was born February 17, 1983 in Latrobe, PA. Jeffrey graduated from Blairsville High School in 2000 and was employed by Dlubak Organic Coatings & Design, Blairsville, PA as a glass bender. He was an avid sports fan. Surviving are his parents of Black Lick; paternal grandmother, Erma Blattenberger of Black Lick; maternal grandparents, Leroy and Ruth Duncan of Black Lick: several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and a girlfriend, Maggie Volk. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Samuel Bruce Blattenberger and an aunt Cindy Duncan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 North Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with the Pastor Fred Craig officiating. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
