Dorothy V. Everett Fairbanks, 88, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PAThe daughter of James M. and Amanda Cousins Everett, she was born July 17, 1916 in Blairsville, PA.Mrs. Fairbanks lived her entire life in Blairsville. She was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church and Blairsville Chapter #166 Order of the Eastern Star.Surviving are two sons, Robert G. Fairbanks and his wife, Joy of Blairsville, PA; Carl D. Fairbanks of Blairsville, PA; two daughters, Nancy Bergman and her husband, Roger of Blairsville, PA; Mary Jane Kernen and her husband, Michael of Lakeland, FL; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn O. Fairbanks in 1992; granddaughter, Amy Fairbanks; two brothers, James and Meade Everett and two sisters, Florence Weir and Barbara Lightbody.The wishes of Mrs. Fairbanks were to have no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 27, at 5:00 P.M. in the Hebron Lutheran Church, Blairsville, PA with Rev. Karen R. Taylor officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PAIn lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Hebron Lutheran Church, 125 N.
