Dorothy G. Miller Sracic, 77, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 09, 2005 at The Beacon Ridge, Indiana, PA.The Daughter of Charles Miller and Alice "Ramsden" Miller, she was born July 14, 1927 in Latrobe Area Hospital. She graduated from Blairsville High School with the Class of 1946. Mrs. Sracic worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers. She was a member of the Black Lick United Methodist Church. She is survived by her Loving Husband of 57 years, George Sracic whom she married January 24, 1948. She is also survived by a daughter Sheila Capitosti and her husband Gary of Blairsville, Two Grandsons, Dr. Gregory Capitosti and his wife Jill of Mattoon, IL; Dr. Scott Capitosti and his wife Amanda of Branford, CT; and a Great-Grandson Andrew John Capitosti of Mattoon, IL; and sister Mary Alice Jellison, of State College, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Charles R. Miller in 1992, and a sister Ruth Cribbs, in 2003. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, 49 North Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home with Rev. Jason McQueen officiating. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Beacon Ridge and Excela Health Latrobe Area Hospital.
