Jetta J. McKee Derry, 74, of Indiana, PA formerly of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Alden B. and Muriel Nichols McKee, she was born March 25, 1930 in Indiana, PA.Mrs. Derry was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, PA.She graduated from Indiana High School with the class of 1948 and worked as a licensed practical nurse for 30 years at Torrance State Hospital, retiring in 1976.Surviving are two daughters, Doris Canton and her husband, Edward of South Park, PA and Tina Hooker and her husband, Greg of Blairsville, PA; two grandchildren, Christina and Jessica Hooker; two sisters, Mary Ann Stile and Martha McKee, both of Indiana, PA.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmer W. Derry in 1991.Private visitation and funeral services with Pastor William P. Wood officiating will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PAMemorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
